INTRODUCTION
Developing team members into intrapreneurs When you want to inspire the people you work with, you need skills to find out what individuals need and want to be able to accomplish their personal and organization goals. Because persons and situations differ from each other, you have to develop the ability to adept your leadership style to meet the needs and wants, and to set up a communication process in reaching agreements how the leader and the individual can create a fruitful cooperation.
OUR SOLUTION: TRAINING “INSPIRING LEADERSHIP” In the training Inspiring Leadership we focus on three skills: Diagnosis, Flexibility, and Partnering for Performance. Inspiring Leadership is what you do with people, not to them. This training teaches you leadership principles, models, processes and best practices. Not only will you reinforce your own leadership knowledge and skills but also will you demonstrate your commitment to help team members to succeed, and also how to succeed yourself.
OBJECTIVES
In this workshop the participants will: • Deepen their knowledge and use of the skills of Inspiring Leadership; • Learn to pick up on cues in the situations they manage to determine the most effective leadership style to develop others competence and commitment; • Be able to recognize and differentiate several leadership styles in action; • Practice the most effective leadership style to the situation; • Experience and understand the negative consequences of mismatched leadership styles and effects of over-supervising and under-supervising; • Learn how to use the skill of Partnering for Performance and increase performance, trust, and cooperation; • Become familiar with several tools to support the use of leadership on the job.
COURSE OUTLINE
Defining Leadership Theme: what is a leader and how do you see yourself as a leader? • What is the meaning of being a leader in general? • Why people needs leaders? • How would you rate yourself?
The First Skill: Diagnosis of the needs and wants of team members Theme: creating the ability, and the willingness, to look at a situation and assess the development needs of employees in order to decide which leadership style is most effective for the person, goal or task at hand. • The four development areas of your team member; the Enthusiastic Beginner, the Disillusioned Learner, the Capable but Cautious Performer, the Self-Reliant Achiever. • The key diagnosis questions
The Second Skill: Flexibility Theme: the ability to use a variety of leadership styles comfortably • Directive and supportive behaviour • The Four Leadership Styles to Inspire: Directing, Coaching, Supporting, Delegating • Practicing the Four Leadership Styles and the differences between the Four Leadership Styles • Over-supervision and Under-supervision, Match and Mismatch
The Third Skill: Partnering for performance Theme: reaching agreements with your employees on the leadership style needed to achieve individual and organization goals • Process for Partnering for Performance • Resolving a disagreement about Development Level • One on ones

The training Inspiring Leadership is beneficial to line-, staff- and project managers at all levels.
METHODOLOGY
This program is very practical, highly enjoyable, energizing and interactive. We use different didactic tools and theory is alternated with individual and group activities. We encourage you also to learn from each other by exchanging your personal insights and experiences. We facilitate in an entertaining and effective way by using metaphors and situations of every day to reinforce, new work habits and systems and minimize any tendency to regress.
